Burning Tree Magazine was fortunate to get an interview with the Democratic candidate for Leon County Sheriff, Walt McNeil. Mr. McNeil is a former Chief of Police of the City of Tallahassee and has advised the White House on law enforcement strategies and tactics. He also served as the Secretary of the Department of Corrections under Charlie Crist, and was instrumental in turning a deficit into a surplus while working in the Florida Department of Corrections.
In the following interviews he lays out certain key policy points and answers what we hope are interesting and difficult questions. For more information on Mr. McNeil and his campaign, please visit http://www.mcneilforsheriff.com/meet
